Competition Terms and Conditions: 28-Day See a Stride Challenge

 

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the participation in the “28-Day See-a-Stride Challenge” (hereinafter referred to as “the Challenge”) organized by Lucinda Green XC Academy (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”). By participating in the Challenge, participants acknowledge and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

 

Eligibility

  1. The Challenge is open to individuals who are 10 years old or older at the time of participation.
  2. Employees, affiliates, partners, and immediate family members of the Organizer are not eligible to participate in the Challenge.

 

Entry

  1. To enter the Challenge, participants must complete the registration process as specified by the Organizer.
  2. Each participant may submit only one entry.
  3. Participants must provide accurate and valid information during the registration process.

 

Challenge Requirements

  1. Participants are required to [describe the specific requirements and activities of the Challenge].
  2. Participants must submit “before” and “after” videos showcasing their progress during the Challenge.
  3. The “before” video should be submitted at the beginning of the Challenge, and the “after” video should be submitted within the specified timeframe at the end of the Challenge.
  4. Participants must ensure that the videos are clear, of good quality, and accurately represent their progress.
  5. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants who fail to meet the Challenge requirements, engage in any prohibited activities, or fail to submit the required videos on time or submit videos that do not meet the specified criteria.

 

Prizes and Rewards

  1. The prizes and rewards for the Challenge will be clearly defined, including details on their nature, quantity, and distribution.
  2. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
  3. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prizes with alternatives of equal or greater value if circumstances require it.

 

Winner Selection and Announcement

  1. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Organizer based on their evaluation of the entries according to the following criteria: [Specify the criteria for judging, such as creativity, progress, effort, or adherence to the Challenge requirements].
  2. The judges’ decisions are final and binding.
  3. Winners will be notified via Zoom call, social media channels, and email within a reasonable period after the Challenge ends.

Intellectual Property

  1. Participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, and display any content or materials submitted as part of the Challenge.
  2. Participants confirm that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit any content or materials and that their submission does not infringe upon any third-party rights.

 

Privacy and Data

  1. The Organizer will handle all personal data provided by participants in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the Organizer’s privacy policy.
  2. By participating in the Challenge, participants consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal data for the purposes of the Challenge.

 

Liability and Indemnification

  1. Participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Organizer from any liability, claims, damages, or losses arising from or related to their participation in the Challenge.
  2. Participants agree to indemnify the Organizer against any claims, costs, or expenses incurred as a result of their breach of these terms and conditions.

 

Modifications and Termination

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge at any time without prior notice.

 

Applicable Law

These Terms and the Challenge shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising in connection with the Challenge or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
