I want to inspire you to get into your horse’s brain. It’s easy to put our thoughts and emotions into our horse. But, horses are mammals that do not have the ability to reason. They associate ideas
Using this knowledge and my 3 step framework you can turn your problems into solutions by riding “Pro-actively” rather than “Re-actively”
No matter whether you are tackling the toughest XC or trying to get past a dreaded dustbin/garbage can – your new skill will give you the confidence to deal with anything your horse throws at you.

Beyond her competitive success, Lucinda has spent the last 45 years coaching riders worldwide, from grassroots to elite level. She developed the “Greenprint” for confident jumping, a proven framework to help riders and horses develop trust and perform at their best.
To make her training accessible to more riders, she founded the Lucinda Green Academy, where she shares her lifetime of knowledge to help you think like a horse and ride with confidence.
Lucinda has got me thinking about EVERYTHING from my horse, Boris’ perspective: does he know the rules and the questions? How will he experience a new jump or the shadow when the sun moves? Thinking like a horse may sound obvious but it has been a gamechanger for me. It has helped me have more fun and success over the last 4 years than I ever imagined on my gorgeous, quirky and sometimes testing Boris.
This is only the second time doing x country training. Just little jumps but the Lucinda Green XC Academy Members Only has give me so much focus and confidence. I cuddled my pony with legs, that really helped. I had Lucinda's voice in my head, 3/4 of the horse in front of you, I was speaking to myself, but it really helped. I am not in a yard, so just my daughter and me just ride on our own. The Academy is pushing me and giving me confidence and making me focus. I am just loving it. Thank you x
Having recently joined the academy as have been struggling a bit with the XC phase, mainly with confidence and not being quick enough! The academy has helped immensely and this was proven yesterday when we headed to our first ODE of the season where not only did we get a time fault for going to fast! But we also had our first win and the most fantastic feeling XC round! Thank you for this wonderful fountain of knowledge!
At Broadway yesterday competing in 100. My 'Ready for Trouble' seat has helped me no end. Also looking ahead and focusing on something to get my line in. I had a double mastectomy in April and this was our first event together since then, so the 28 day challenge has really helped me to get
First drag hunt ever with my little crazy mare. It was fast & fantastic. Thank you so much for all the tips, tricks and guidance that helped so much boost my trust +confidence
Wanted to say thank you again to Lucinda Green and Rachael Faulkner for an amazing challenge! I have had so much fun and learned multiple skills that I was able to put to use at Blissful Judgement's first horse show last week! I really enjoyed the weekly Q&A; I found this part of the challenge the most beneficial. Having my own questions answered and also listening to other questions was really helpful as we are constantly learning in this sport. The support and sense of community within the group is definitely going to be missed. Good luck to everyone in the future! Keep chasing your dreams!
Janet (my horse - I didn't name her!!) would like to say, "A big Thankyou for you stopping her Mummy trying to micro-manage every stride at a fence which usually resulted in us landing in a steep heap on the other side! Just because she needs a nappy on jumping most of the time doesn't mean I do and I am perfectly capable of sorting all of my feet out for myself, given the chance!! My smile in her after video says it all!
Thank you Rachel and Luncinda for this challenge. It was great to be so critical of myself and I really felt like I needed to do better, and could do better with the tools. I could see all the ways I overrode, nit-picked, micromanaged....needed to just go with the flow!!! Love my little Connie pony and he knows his job so well that I will be better. Always wanted to jump a single barrel so we challenged ourselves for "Line" week! Thanks to everyone for submitting videos. I learnt a lot from them as well. Cheers from Canada!
I'd like to say a huge thank you for those who spent time creating this course! It has made me evaluate myself as a rider and how I can be better for my horse, it's given me challenges to give me focus for the week and helped me find new ways to understand my horse! I know I will be using the weekly challenges now forever to keep trying to improve. At the end of the day my horse is constantly learning and it is only fair I do the same, to be the best rider for her is the least I can
